Questions about Baikal Tea products

Which Baikal Tea product should I try first?

Go for whatever attracts you first.

If you've never tried Chaga Tea then it is a good introduction to the world of authentic health. If you want something that's gonna help with inflammation, go for Ivan Tea. If you want your tummy to feel better, get Teatox. Or if you're looking for something new, yet familiar, then try the wild Siberian Peppermint tea.

We also have bundle deals on the bottom of the store page.

Where is the tea made?

We hand-pick our herbs in natural Siberian reserves around the cleanest lake on Earth - Lake Baikal. The herbs that grow near clean water grow strong and vital. Steeped in hot water these herbs are going to translate the energy of those ancient magnificent places to you. Each herb is full of nutrients and antioxidants for every day healthy rituals.

Are there any additives or artificial tastes?

Baikal Tea is free of any artificial tastes or additives. It is wild and authentic, just as nature intended. The herbal mixes are carefully crafted for the most benefit to our body. Feel free to add all sorts of natural add-ins for more taste and fun: lemon, all kinds of milk, berries, honey, etc. Also, feel free to mix Baikal Tea with any other teas.

When can I drink the tea?

All of our teas are decaf, so you can enjoy them at any time of the day. (I prefer Chagas and Ivan in the morning, Peppermint in the afternoon, Teatox after dinner meal, and Serenity towards the night, but many people take Chaga at night too, as it helps them with sleep).

I see a little hole on the back of my bag, is the product damaged?

No. It is important to let our herbs "breathe" while they patiently wait to get in your hands. The hole ensures the tea stays fresh in your bag.

Do you use pesticides or other chemicals?

We never use any pesticides or other chemicals. Pesticides are commonly used for growing cultivated plants. Baikal Tea herbs grow in the wild on 70 acres of natural reserves near Lake Baikal, so you are getting the most natural, authentic, and wild tea ever!

Our teams hand-pick the plants at the right time and the right life-cycle to maximize the potency of these medicinal herbs.

Are Baikal Tea herbs and tea medicinal?

Yes, they are medicinal grade herbs.

Technically, all herbs are medicinal, as herbs and roots were our first form of medicinal drugs a long time ago. It’s the quality of a plant that makes it more or less “medicinal”. Many herbalists agree that wild-harvested herbs are superior to cultivated ones and we tend to agree. Our philosophy is that in order to be strong and healthy, all living things need to struggle. This natural selection process ensures herbs to grow of the highest quality.

Is Baikal Tea sold in any retail store?

Baikal Tea is not sold in any retail stores. As a family-owned e-commerce business, the best place to buy our products is on the Baikal Tea store.

Is the product organic? I do not see the official label on the packaging anywhere.

All the herbs grow organically in the wild forests around the Cleanest Siberian Lake. They are as organic as anything gets, from forest direct to the cup. We are applying for different certifications and updating the packaging as they come.
