Problem bags

I found it nearly impossible to extract any tea from the bags. The water has to be truly boiling and immediately add the bags. Then squeeze and push the bags in the water until you get a slight seepage into the water. Very different bags from your chaga bags. Why, I wonder.

Hey Mari, thanks so much for letting us know—and we’re really sorry for the mix-up. It turns out there was an issue at our Armenian factory, where the wrong type of tea bags was used in some packages. This prevents the tea from properly infusing in hot water.

We’re now fully aware that some of the Armenia Ivan Tea batches have this issue. We’re issuing refunds and discounting the entire batch.

We’ve issued you a refund for the bag of tea. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other concerns—we’re here to help 🙏

Great 10/10 herbal tea

Pleasant smell and taste. I just leave the tea bag in the tea, it gets even better. Perfect for evening tea time.

We’re glad you’re loving the aroma and taste. Letting the bag steep longer really brings out the delicate notes — perfect for a calming evening cup ‍♀️

Light, sweet, and easy to drink

I just received my package of this Armenian Ivan tea to share with my mother. She was unfamiliar with herbal teas, and since I was drinking more herbal and mushroom teas, I decided to let her try some of this one with me. We were pleasantly surprised at the light delicate notes of sweetness of the fireweed herb. It reminded both of us of drinking white tea. It was a great beverage addition to relax with while we were on vacation. I would recommend it to any tea drinker, but specifically those trying to begin drinking herbal teas. Will purchase again.

We love that you shared this tea with your mother — tea always tastes better when it’s part of a memory. Those delicate floral-sweet notes are what make non-fermented Ivan Tea so unique, and we’re glad you both enjoyed them

Natural way to boost my immunity

I've heard of this tea before but never tried it. As soon as I found it here, I thought I'd give it a try and guess what, I really think the more people know about the good properties of this goodness, the better. It is non-fermented, meaning it is lighter in taste and color and has a lighter "herbal" taste. Unlike some fermented teas, this one does not have a bitter aftertaste and is easier to drink, if your only reason not to drink herbal holistic teas is their strong funky taste. Non-fermented tea is a good companion to your pro-biotic supplements, it can be beneficial to my immune system in a very natural way. I highly recommend this tea!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the health benefits and gentle flavor. It means a lot to us to see more people discovering and appreciating this traditional tea. Stay well and keep on sipping! ‍♀️

The Green Version of Ivan Tea

This is basically the green version of Ivan Tea, made from the plant known as fireweed aka willowherb. It is "unfermented" (actually meaning that it did not go through oxidation) in the same way standard green and white tea made from Camellia sinensis is "unfermented" / unoxidized. Ivan Tea is most commonly available in the "fermented" (oxidized) aka "black" version that is most popular among Russians. The taste between the two is similar to the difference in taste between the typical green and black teas from East Asia. I haven't had the green version of Ivan Tea from anything other than a Ukrainian source, but I guess it must be a thing in Armenia considering that's where this one is coming from. Btw, this is the only one of Baikal Tea's products not originating from Siberia.
